Marie Antoinette Style at the National Museum of Korea: Opens Dec 18, 2026

Last checked: October 29, 2026, against the National Museum of Korea (NMK) official English site. The page did not list admission or booking details.

The National Museum of Korea opens “Marie Antoinette Style” on December 18, 2026, in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum. The museum says the show starts from Marie Antoinette’s self-fashioned image in fashion, interiors and personal taste, then gathers the conflicting ways she has been portrayed: a symbol of luxury and excess, an object of admiration, a victim of the Revolution and a fashion icon. It runs until March 31, 2027.

What to expect

The museum says the show also follows how these images were repeated and changed across art, fashion and popular culture, and how they keep evolving today. I did not find a works list or any details on loans.

Tips for international visitors
