The 16th Jeju Olle Walking Festival takes place on November 5 to 7, 2026, on Olle Trail Courses 19 and 20 along Jeju’s northeast coast. It is also the last festival in its current format, where thousands of people walk together for three days. From next year the organizers plan to switch to a different format, with all 23 courses walked in sequence over 25 days.

Daily routes
- Day 1, Thursday, Nov 5: Opening ceremony at Jocheon Stadium, then about 13 km along Course 19 to Dongbok-ri Sports Park.
- Day 2, Friday, Nov 6: About 11.5 km linking Courses 19 and 20, from Dongbok-ri Sports Park to Jeju Batdam Theme Park.

Villages and sights along the way include Hamdeok, Bukchon, Dongbok, Gimnyeong, Woljeong and Sehwa. Local artists perform, villages serve food, and there are experience programs. The festival also shows an exhibition on 20 years of Jeju Olle and a memorial space for its late founder.
Registration and fees
Online pre-registration ran from July 8 to October 9, and about 3,000 people had signed up. One news report says people who missed it can still register on site on the festival days. One guide lists the on-site price as 35,000 KRW for adults, but I found that in only one source, so confirm it before you go. You can walk any one day or all three for the same fee, according to that guide. The fee covers a souvenir package and festival programs. Hotels and transport are not included.
Meals and shuttles
One detailed guide says village women’s associations prepare lunch each day, with meal tickets sold in advance through the app only, and paid shuttles between Jeju City, Seogwipo and the festival sites at 4,000 KRW one way, also sold in advance through the app. I could not verify these details on an official page, so check the app for current availability and prices. The same guide says walkers start between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. and set their own pace.
Tips for international visitors
- Use the Olle Pass app to join, and keep your confirmation handy.
- Pre-registration has closed, so ask about on-site registration at the start point.
- Plan transport early. The same guide says parking near the start and finish points is limited, the routes are one-way, and there is no luggage storage.
- Bring a light windbreaker. Early November winds along the coast can be strong.
- Please do not photograph residents or touch crops without permission.
- Rooms near Courses 19 and 20 are limited, so book early if you have not already.
