Last checked: October 29, 2026, against the Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) official exhibition page. I did not check the museum’s directions page, so use the map link for routes.
The Seoul Museum of Art’s Seoseoul branch in Geumcheon-gu, southwest Seoul, opens its first new media emerging artists show on November 5, 2026. The title is 《탈피하지 못하는 뱀은》, roughly “The Snake That Cannot Shed Its Skin” (my translation). It runs until February 28, 2027 and admission is free.

What to expect
The museum describes the show as about memory passed through families and the traces of lives that remain in the present. The two artists exchanged ideas through a “pen pal” correspondence while preparing it. I could not confirm a full works list.
Free guided tours
The exhibition page lists a docent tour every day at 2 PM from November 6, 2026 to February 28, 2027. On November 6 and 7 the tour is at 3 PM, and there is no docent on Sundays November 8, 15, 22 and 29. Tours are in Korean unless the museum says otherwise, and I did not confirm English tours.
Tips for international visitors
- Admission is free, so it fits easily into a day that also covers other southwest Seoul stops.
- Check the museum’s page for the nearest station before you go, since I did not verify the route.
- Winter weekend hours end at 6 PM, earlier than weekdays.
