Last checked: October 29, 2026, against the MMCA official exhibition and Cheongju visitor pages. I did not check the museum’s directions page.
The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) opens “Technology Nostalgia” at its Cheongju branch on November 6, 2026. The new media collection show follows the history of media art from early cathode-ray TV video art to works that interact with AI. It runs until March 14, 2027. Cheongju is a day trip from Seoul, so plan the transfer time.

Tips for international visitors
- Cheongju is outside Seoul. I did not verify the transfer route, so check the museum’s directions page.
- The museum is closed on Mondays, and the last entry is at 5 PM.
- Because the ticket also covers floors 1 to 4, leave time to see the open storage areas that the museum highlights.
